Co-founder - COO
Job Description
Byosen is a biosensors startup for mental wellbeing. We are looking for an experienced, result and data-driven COO who will work with an active team to plan, develop and implement the daily operations. Our ideal candidate has extensive experience within the industry, perhaps having worked your way up through the ranks to your role as an executive. The COO will use his or her understanding and experience in dealing with the practices, policies and procedures of the healthtech industry to develop more efficient processes and lead the team. You should have excellent decision making, management and organizational skills.
Objectives of this role

Collaborate with the CEO in setting and driving the organizational vision and operational strategy. You must have meaning to the problem we are addressing and the solution we have for it. It is essential that we share the same goals and long term vision.

Translate strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth, helping to implement operations planning. To succeed as a COO, you should be focused on discovering and experimenting with better tools and systems that build greater efficiencies in order to make startups grow efficiently and effectively.

Oversee daily operations and productivity, driving a highly inclusive culture.

Ensure effective recruiting, onboarding and performance management. We are looking for a practical visionary who communicates well.

Taking action when necessary, dealing with specific strategic imperatives.
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

Analyze internal ways of doing things and identify areas of process enhancement.

Develop actionable business strategies and plans to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives.

Directly oversee operations, HR, and accounting and partner with the CEO to manage daily tasks.

Aggressively manage capital investment and expenses to ensure Byosen achieves investors targets relative to growth and profitability.

Monitor performance with tracking and establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports, both current and forecasting.

Maintain and build trusted relationships with users, partners and stakeholders.

Skills and Qualifications

Master Degree in business administration/management

Fundraising experience
